What can you expect at these meetings? Good question.

The typical meeting will begin on Wednesday with our General meeting. For this one, all members of the group in attendance meet together and discuss matters that pertain to everyone in some form or fashion. 

 

On Wednesday our subcommittee meet to discuss specific items. For example, the Subcommittees meet in separate rooms and, for example,  the Loans group will talk about ways to increase the productivity while booking a loan. At the same time the IT subcommittee will discuss items such as how to protect our customers data with technology.

On Friday we get the entire group together for a few minutes and split up into the various subcommittees for breakout sessions. Many attendees claim this is the best part of the gathering. The breakout sessions are for you to network with your peers. You will have the chance to ask your group questions about how what products may be used or what problems that you may have that others may know how to resolve.

To help support our meetings vendors are invited to present to the group. Vendors are asked to make it as much of a training session as possible and not just a sales pitch. The vendors help the group by sponsoring breakfast, lunch or dinner. Next time you are at a meeting be sure to thank the vendors.
